Paddle Boarding
A new Asia Outdoors activity, be one of the first to Stand Up Paddleboard in Lan Ha Bay. It’s a great option for a relaxed, eco friendly way to explore the Bay in a small intimate group or private 1-on-1 session whilst challenging yourself physically a bit more than you would kayaking.
Paddle through Lan Ha Bay’s beautiful, less-travelled and highly protected conservation areas with a new perspective. Standing up allows you to see more of the bay and deep under the surface by reducing glare and elevating yourself above the water.

For those who want to do it all…
The Seafarer Package is the ideal choice offering a combination of some of Asia Outdoors’ most popular tours and activities. The package offers participants the chance to spend over 24 continuous hours out on the bay and watch the changes in the landscape that occur in dawn, daytime, dusk, and night time light, all the while engaging in adventurous outdoor activities.
The experience includes a full day kayaking, exploring less-visited areas of Lan Ha Bay, and rock climbing on a hidden beach. Enjoy an authentic Vietnamese dinner and drinks with your personal guide and our boat crew as the sun sets and fishing boats return to surrounding villages. Then, swim in glowing waters lit by bioluminescent plankton before sleeping under the stars on our boat’s top deck. Witness life in the bay from the center of it all.
Although accommodation on the boat is basic it’s an amazing way to experience the Cat Ba way of life. About a quarter of Cat Ba’s population live in floating villages and many fishermen spend their nights on similar junk boats to the one you’ll be staying on. Get a feel for life at sea while enjoying some modest comforts provided by the friendly staff and the bay’s natural beauty.
